AIS-education has
developed a multi-disciplinary
curriculum. All subjects are taught from one common literary text. See
the example list below and how
the inauguration speech of President Barak
Obama can easily link all possible
subjects
together.
- Literacy
days
allow evaluating the literary value of the speech. It
also acts as a solid foundation for all types of expository writing
activities as well as grammatical exercises.
- Science
Days
engage students to evaluate Mr. Obama’s comments on
the environmental issues the US and the world are facing.
- Math
Days
connect the current financial crisis mentioned in the speech with a
real-life understanding.
- Social
Studies Days
offer evaluation of everything in regards to the
election itself, politics, economics, sociological effects of the
outcome of the election, and countless more.
- Fridays
give
students the ability to educate their fellow classmates in
their topic and their findings.
